Terms & community guidelines
Report incidents, never people
Using Nirapod means agreeing to these rules. They exist to keep the platform useful for safety and impossible to weaponise against individuals.
Strictly prohibited
- Doxxing: posting names, photos, phone numbers, NID numbers, vehicle registration numbers, social profiles, workplaces or addresses of any person.
- Personal accusations: claiming a named or describable individual is a criminal, thief, snatcher or offender.
- Threats and incitement: threatening harm, calling for mob action, or encouraging anyone to “handle” a person.
- Revenge and harassment: using reports to target neighbours, tenants, landlords, exes, rivals, or any specific person or group.
- Fabricated or exaggerated reports: submitting incidents that did not happen, or inflating them.
- Discriminatory reporting: describing people by ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or nationality as a proxy for suspicion.
- Spam and automation: bulk, duplicate, promotional or scripted submissions.
What good reports look like
A good report says what was reported, roughly where (area level), and roughly when — with enough context for a neighbour to be more careful, and no detail that could identify anyone.
Enforcement
Reports that break these rules are rejected during moderation and are never published. Repeated abuse leads to submission restrictions. Serious cases, such as credible threats, may be referred to the appropriate authorities.
No warranty, no emergency service
Nirapod provides community information “as is”. Reported activity may be incomplete, delayed, mistaken or absent. Do not rely on Nirapod for emergencies or for decisions with legal consequences. Call 999 in an emergency.
